36. AN UNFAIR GAME FOOTBALL FINANCE ON NY TIMES

I just caught my eye on this lovely piece by Kris Hofmann for the New York Times, discussing the unfair price hikes for football matchday tickets in recent times. The illustrator uses a custom-made set of trading cards to help demonstrate her argument, with infographic aids and beautifully choreographed narration, easy to receive for all audiences. It maintains a lovely homemade and traditional style of storytelling through the cards that are still the main focal point of the video.

Also as a sidenote, as much as I've posted this as video inspiration, the case in point on football finance is very valid and hearing the data presented here is a surprise for me, with clubs seemingly having so much room to spare fans of extortionate pricing, and with fans being the key ingredient for any football club, it seems foolish not to help them (us) support the club.
